It's A New Day

It’s a new day

Did you have a bad day yesterday? Did you missed the bus, the car wouldn’t start, and you had a quarrel with your mate? Are the children misbehaving? May I share this affirmation with you?

IT’S A NEW DAY!!!!!!

Yesterday is gone and along with it went the bad day. It can’t harm or bother you anymore.

Today you can make new choices. Do it different than the day before. Perhaps you may not have to do anything. Just sit silent in the moment and remember now doesn’t last forever. Yesterday was just a bad day. That’s it!

A new day is on the horizon it’s called tomorrow. It is filled with courage, love, understanding, and positive energy. May it bring you happiness and joy along with your blessings.

Until next time,

I wish you Inner peace

You Reap What You Sow

This is a very hard lesson to learn or believe when we as humans react on our emotions. Allow me to share ‘whatever you put out there is going to come back to you.’ It may not be tomorrow, next week, or in the next few years. You may not recognize it when it comes but it will reveal it self to you.

You can’t remain happy making someone else miserable. You can’t plant poison seeds and expect beautiful blossoms when the soil was fertilized with ugliness, hate, falsehood, contempt, gossip, lies and evilness.

You reap what you sow is your seeds coming home to roost. So be careful and watch your words, thoughts and actions.

If you sow anything do it with love and a clean heart. Then reap the benefits of all that is good.

Until next time,

I wish you Inner peace

Repeat or Repair

How many times do you find yourself in the same place, dealing with the same people, making the same decision you made the last time?

There are two answers to the above question.

1. You are attracting the same people, situations, dilemma’s to you by responding, or choosing the same answer because your thought process remained the same.

2. You are in this position so you can make another choice to repair the situation at hand.

Now you have two choices repeat it or repair it.

Every time these mishaps show up in your life it means you didn’t repair it, you repeated it so it will just keep returning in your life. It reeks of the cliché’ ‘If you keep doing the same thing you will receive the same results.’

So it’s up to you to repeat or repair. Trust yourself and choose the decision to repair.

If you noticed I repeated the same thing in a few different ways. To repair it all I had to say was make the opposite choice of what you usually do to get a different result.

Change can be Difficult

Change can be Difficult

One of the hardest things to do is accept changes in your life, especially; when you’re not expecting it or ready for it. Or it’s something you need to change about yourself. We are creatures of habit and routines and change doesn’t seem comfortable.

There will be many changes taking place during our lifetime. Some we will be forced to make and some we choose to make. Adapting to change is what kicks your butt.

At one time I decided to remove all negativity out of my life. Deciding to do it was easy. Doing it was easy, but filling the void was nerve wrecking. It took some time to adjust and find things to replace all the empty slots I now had.

Then there could be physical changes you would like to change. If you are not a discipline person and committed to follow through the change can be impossible to make. Dedication to self is a big plus when making these types of changes.

I firmly believe that if there is something about yourself or something in your life you do not want…CHANGE IT.

I also believe you have to think it through, be sure you are ready to remove it from your life so you don’t back track. It’s important to stay committed, determined, and disciplined. Make sure to include some ideas to fill the void so it can be less stressful.

Change can be good.

Can't Lives On Won't Street

Every time we say the word can’t we stifle our growth, goals, and dreams. Allow me to share a story with you.

Mr. George Dawson, great grand and grandson of slaves learned to read at the age of hundred years old. Every day a young man would come pick Mr. Dawson up to teach him to read. He didn’t even know the Alphabet he signed his name with an X. Before he passed away in 2001 he co-wrote his life story with Richard Glaubman titled Life is so Good. Mr. George Dawson believed it’s never too late.

What an inspirational story. It reminds me whenever I say I can’t I’ll end up on won’t street. This story encourages me to walk out on faith even though I’m taking baby steps. So if you have goals or dreams that you have put off for one reason or another take a leap. Remember it’s never too late unless you believe you can’t. Can’t Street apartments are for rent all the time. The neighborhood is dreary and your neighbors won’t help you because they keep saying they can’t.

Until next time,
